Dr. Maury M. Rosenstein
Board Certified Radiation Oncology


Dr. Rosenstein earned his M.D. at the Bowman Gray School of Medicine of Wake Forest University in North Carolina and received his Ph.D. in immunology at Rutgers University in New Jersey. Dr. Rosenstein has 12 years of postgraduate training and has contributed to nearly 50 medical publications.

Prior to coming to Kentucky, he held combined posts as a medical director of the Department of Radiation Oncology at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center St. Margaret, associate professor at the University of Pittsburgh, Department of Radiation Oncology and Director of Physician education, where he is taught advanced treatment technologies to radiation oncologists nationally and internationally.

He has been licensed with the state of Pennsylvania since 1991, is certified by the American Board of Radiology and has obtained certification for multiple cancer facilities from the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Rosenstein is a member of the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, the American Association of Immunologists, the American Association of Cancer Research, is on the Radiation Oncology QA Committee for the National Surgical Adjuvant Breast and Bowel Project (NSABP) and is the Radiotherapy Chairman for the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG) Melanoma Committee.

He brings to the Commonwealth Cancer Center nearly 30 years of experience in cancer treatment. Dr. Rosenstein resides in London.
