Alex Williams, M.D.
Board Certified Radiation Oncology
Dr. Williams is board certified in Therapeutic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology. He graduated from the University of Kentucky Medical School (2000) and also completed his internship and residency in Radiation Oncology at the University of Kentucky in 2005. In the same year, he was the recipient of the Roentgen Resident Fellow Research Award. He served as Chief Resident for the Department of Radiation Medicine at the University of Kentucky from 2004-2005 and Assistant Professor for the Radiation Oncology Department from 2005-2006. Dr. Williams has collaborated on many research projects at the University, including the treatment of cardiovascular disease with intravascular brachytherapy. Throughout his medical career, he has dedicated himself to the service of his patients by providing the highest quality of care with the greatest compassion.
